Soy – Week is celebrated annually by Good Farming – Good Food and its partners on o1st of June. The celebration marks the importance of Soy as a crop and its essentiality in one’s diet. A sequence of training programmes is organised expounding good agricultural practices in soy crops and nutritional benefits of soybean and soybean-based products in diet.
April 7th marks the celebration of World Health Day every Year. Along with the stakeholders, Good Farming – Good Food brings to light the importance of Health and highlights the significance of nutrition, a key factor behind good health.
Millions of women engage themselves in the profession of farming. Their honest efforts often go unrecognised. To celebrate their contribution to society, Solidaridad, along with its stakeholders, organises Women’s Week every year. The Women’s Week is a week-long event organised for the women farmers of Madhya Pradesh and is a prelude to the celebration of International Women’s Day. The activities and sessions during the week would highlight the importance of- “Women in Leadershipâ€.
Every year, Solidaridad celebrates Women’s Day from 1st to 8th of March. The planned events focus on training programmes based on Women Empowerment, Good Farming Practices, Nutrition and Entrepreneurship, Micro-financing, and many other activities. Many stakeholders and experts from the field of agriculture present their perspective on farming-related activities during the panel discussions. The farmers also receive a chance to share their experience on stage. The outperforming farmers under the programme Good Farming – Good Food will also be felicitated during one of the events.
